Queens Village Library
The library I usually go to is the Queens Village library.
I like how the library is near my house and is easily accessible by public transportation. I also like how the surrounding grass and trees adds some color to the exterior. Another positive is how there is a kid's room inside separated with glass doors to lessen the sound.
I dislike how the exterior is very dull colored. The library's entrance looks uninviting. As for the inside, I dislike how there are only eight computers available and they are usually occupied. The library has few tables and seating for studying and reading. Another downside is that the library is not handicap accessible. Lastly, the library is closed on the weekend.

Nice critique! I am curious to find out how you would renovate the building. The facade is appears to be mponolithic in scale and strong on order. How would you transform the facade to make it more inviting? The steel bar fence doesn't help. In comparision with the previous post, the Flushing Library which is so heavily used doesn't have a perimeter fence. Start sketching and post your ideas here on the blog.
