  1. Thanks for posting this. This starts to generate certain questions. Besides not having the books you need, how is the library organized? What types of spaces do they provide? Which space do you enter in vs which space is the furtherest away? Where is the circulation desk located? Do they have a digital search area, card catalogs or both? Do they have computers for the general public? How many computer terminals? Do they have copy machines, scanners, quiet study rooms, periodicals, a childrens room, multimedia space, teen lounge area, etc.? What types of books do they have? Why would this library have certin books and not others? Does this library cater to a certain sector of the community? Since they do not have the books that you need what services and systems are in place to get you the materials you need. If you like the design, it would be good to find out who the architect of the building is? How much space is used for the public vs the library staff? Are there any large community gathering spaces? Is there a lot of daylight? What is the check out (book lending) process? Are the spaces on the interior colorful? What would help this library be more attractive and draw in more users?
